Last weekend, it was revealed that Frida Sofía and Chiquis Rivera staged a fight in a bar after the Radio Awards event. It was mentioned that the cause of the conflict was the treatment that the daughter of Alejandra Guzmán gave Lupe Esparza. Now, the singer himself explained what happened.

"We arrived at the hotel," Esparza explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). “We had to have a beer; I sat down and on the back of the seat, behind me, was this girl, a girl I didn't really recognize at the time; we are talking about Frida [Sofia]. This girl starts to touch my hair and I turn, surprised, and she asks me about a blue braid that I was wearing. I said, 'Hey, I think you're confusing me, because I think I'm not the one you mean.' This girl says to me 'Yes, surely I think I did get confused.'”

The Bronco vocalist did not give importance to the fact. One of his sons told him that it was Frida Sofía and decided to greet her again; which seemed to annoy the model.

"When I found out it was her, I apologized again and said, 'Sorry, Frida, I didn't recognize you,'" he added. "She started to answer me, like yelling at me, 'That's how you treat people who approach you.' I didn't know what she was talking about."

Chiquis Rivera listened and came out in defense of Lupe Esparza, who does not want to give more importance to this fact.

“I had, close to me, my personal security, my golden Chiquis. I didn't even know the Chiquis was there either,”she said. La Chiquis said 'hey mi'ja, you do not disrespect me for his career,' and so they began to talk to each other. Obviously, I really appreciated the Chiquis' gesture. What I did, better, was retire to my room”.
