The Wedding Dress At The Givenchy Show In Paris

Paris couture fashion week is almost over and we cannot fail to mention that it has been a real treat to see the incredible gala collections of fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Giambattista Valli, Giorgio Armani, Zuhair Murad and Valentino, among others. We are also proud to know that Latin models once again reigned on the most important catwalks. But we have to admit that the piece that the show stole, or rather the week, was one of Clare Waight Keller's incredible designs for Givenchy.

We are talking about the wedding dress with which the model Kaia Gerber -daughter of Cindy Crawford- closed the show of that brand and with which she stole the breath of those present. The wedding gown, crafted from delicate white lace, had bare shoulders and a rather fluffy skirt. But the reality is that what caught the most attention was the impressive veil that matched the suit.

The piece looked like a concave flower petal that made the model look like a goddess. The long and imposing veil, which we still do not know how it remained on the Gerber's head, is also made of the same delicate white lace with which the costume was made.

Givenchy's spring / summer 2020 collection was inspired by the flowers of the English gardens, so we saw super-feminine pieces, with flights and oversized details that gave the illusion of a flower. But undoubtedly the dress was the impressive veil that stayed on everyone's mind.
