Thanks to many entrepreneurs, designers and visionaries, in recent years Latin America has become fashionable. Not only its landscapes, the food, the rhythms and the extraordinary designs of our countries now go around the world, but also the needs faced by some communities in places like Central America. It is precisely one of those places where we moved this week with Kika Rocha, to learn a little more about an incredible initiative that is filling a small town with a lot of color and new visitors.

This week in The Specials with Kika, the beauty expert went to the small town of Santa Catarina Palopó, in Guatemala, where she not only learned a little more about the culture of the place and the distinctive hair headdresses they wear, but also from the new initiative they have to make the town more cheerful, more colorful and more attractive to tourists.

“The project started two years ago and the idea was born from two Guatemalans. The patterns that we see reflected on the walls were taken from the modern huipil and the old huipil”, explains one of the volunteers of the project through which the facades of the houses are painted with distinctive figures of Guatemalan culture. "There are seven patterns and seven figures."

Do not miss the beautiful landscapes that Rocha shows us in this beautiful tour of one of the most beautiful towns in the Central American country.
