Selena Gómez returns to work as a designer. This time to launch their first sports collection with the Puma brand.
The 26-year-old singer teamed up with the well-known sportswear brand, with whom she has collaborated in the past, to create a collection called Strong Girl (the S and R refer to the initials of her name) whose purpose is to make feel good to the person wearing it, exercise or not. Each piece is designed to promote empowerment and motivation, and are embroidered with the word "S trength", which means strength.
The line, which will launch on December 12 in the brand's stores and Puma.com, consists of shoes, sports bras, colorful sports tights and sweatshirts that look very comfortable. In all of them you can perfectly see the style of the singer who always looks spectacular in sports outfits.
"I feel that when I dress for exercise, I am also dressing for what I want to achieve, as a goal," Gomez said in an interview for Elle magazine about her collaboration with Puma. According to her, the designs are also intended for people who do not necessarily wear sportswear to exercise but on a daily basis.
Another point of inspiration was her friends, who posed with her for the campaign of the collection. “I don't have friends who are the same size or something similar. I understand women's bodies more for my friends, for the way they dress and what looks good on them,”she assured.
After his collections with Coach and now with Puma, we would not be surprised if the former Disney star launched a line of clothing from his own brand. I am not sure about that. It is good to work with people who really understand what they are doing. I am very well where I am right now,”he assured.
