Judging by the tremendous success of his latest collections, it seems that everything Alessandro Michele, Gucci's creative director, touches turns to gold. From his first perfume at the helm of the Italian firm to his revival album, all his ideas have helped the house continue to grow and gain fans among the millennial public.

So there is no doubt that the recently announced launch of its first bag in collaboration with Comme des Garçons is going to become the new object of desire for fashion victims around the world.

The Italian brand has confirmed the news with a statement sent to the press in which they explain that Michele and Rei Kawakubo, the creative director of the Japanese firm that was honored last year at the Met gala, decided to experiment together and merge their two such different aesthetics.

"The shopper is made with brown paper and a plastic wrap that gives it that contemporary and industrial air and makes a curious juxtaposition with the classic three Gucci stripes, and the equestrian and craft history they represent," they explain in the statement. "The result is an idiosyncratic piece made in Japan that combines codes from the two houses."

Although the price of the bag has not yet been confirmed, we do know that the collaboration was created exclusively for Dover Street Market stores, but it is believed that it will be available internationally from December 6, according to Refinery 29.
