Surely you have already tried makeup in stick, powder, cream and even spray, but what about paper makeup? This is the original proposal from Flesh, a new makeup brand that launched last year with 44 foundation shades to adapt to as many shades as possible and has now expanded its offering with this format that we are not so used to. We have tried it and here is our verdict.

The Flesh Flipbook Makeup Sheets is like a very small booklet, smaller than the metro card, ideal to carry in your bag. It has three types of blades in three different colors: light pink highlighter, darker pink blush, and bright brown bronzer.

How is it used? Very easy. Gently break a leaf of the color you want to use and rub it on the cheeks, the neckline, the shoulders, the legs … wherever you want to enhance your glow! From the brand's website they recommend using it on clean skin or, if you use it as a touch-up on makeup, do not rub it, rather apply it by tapping.

After trying it on very different skin tones, we came to the conclusion that our favorite of the three is blush. In my opinion, the pink color with glitter particles is super flattering on both darker and paler skin. The bronzer seems like a good idea to cover large areas like the legs for example, and it also has a flattering bright spot.

The illuminator has a very nice color, but in our experience the result did not last long. Perhaps a good trick would be to apply it right after the moisturizer to provide an extra hold. The best thing about the Flipbook is that it is super practical for beauty emergencies, you can even carry it in a wallet for when the occasion arises. Another plus point is that it does not contain parabens and is not tested on animals. A plus!
