Although Kate del Castillo has always shone in her own light on red carpets, it seems that her image consultant missed an impasse at the Platinum Awards that took place this Saturday in Spain.

Seeing the photograph of the moment in which she arrived at that gala and that the protagonist of Ingobernable (Netflix) published on her Instagram account, it is inevitable to associate her outfit with the one Jennifer Lopez wore a few months ago to the Billboard Music Awards Latin.

As this image shows, the similarity of the look that I wore from the Castle last night and that of the Diva from the Bronx on April 27, goes beyond the black color. Both feature a pronounced V-neckline that falls to the navel while revealing half of her bust, and both also feature a bold opening in the middle of the legs. But the similarity continues: the Mexican's dress also replicates the ribbon at the waist, long sleeves and the detail of crochet-style cut outs that her Bronx colleague wore at that music gala.

And, as if all those similarities were not enough…. The style of shoes is also similar!

The two dresses were created by different designers. According to Kate del Castillo reported on her Instagram page, hers comes from the Stello house in Los Angeles, while JLo's was created by Julien Macdonald.

Another great coincidence in this look is that both outfits require an impeccable figure to show them off. Since the two stars who have taken them meet that requirement, both have caused a huge sensation in their passage of the red carpets in which they paraded.
