During the summer not only your skin suffers the ravages of the sun's rays, but also your hair. Sometimes it is difficult to know the best way to care for it and the most suitable products to keep it in optimal conditions during this season of beach, pool and lots of fun in the sun. Luckily, there are products and very easy ways to care for our mane. To learn the best tips and what we can do to protect it, we spoke with Leonardo Rocco, the famous stylist of Suave Professionals, who shares his five best tips so that our hair does not suffer during these months of much action outdoors.

- “When you go to the beach or the pool it is very important to protect your hair from ultraviolet rays, salt [and] chlorine. I recommend you create your own protective conditioner. Mix 1/4 cup Suave Professionals Coconut Oil Infusion Damage Repair Conditioner and ¾ cup water in a bottle. Mix it well and spray your hair every hour to keep it protected.”

- "After an intense day at the beach and in the pool, I recommend always rinsing it with fresh water to eliminate salt, chlorine and other products that are harmful to the health of your hair."

- “At this time of year it is very important to nourish the hair and keep it hydrated with a shampoo and conditioner that restores softness, shine and a healthy appearance. Wash your hair two or three times a week. Always use the conditioner from two inches from root to tip.”

- “Get deep nutrition based on coconut oil once a week. Before going to sleep, use the Suave Professionals Coconut Oil Infusion Damage Repair Oil Treatment, after moistening your hair, put the coconut oil from the middle to the ends and put on a plastic [cap]. Wash and condition as usual the next morning."

- “Leave your hair natural. This is the key in the summer. Do not overdo the use of thermal tools. Use them only once or twice a week at most. For this, it is important to have a spectacular cut that allows you to play with your hair and have a natural and casual look”.
