Jennifer López Talks About Shoe Collection With Giuseppe Zanotti

Despite having nearly a two-decade career, Jennifer Lopez, who recently graced our anniversary cover, remains one of the most complete and successful artists in the world. At this moment the actress not only stars in the hit series Shades of Blue (NBC), but in December she returns with her show All I have in Las Vegas and has just launched a new adventure with the designer Giuseppe Zanotti with whom she has created a fabulous collection of shoes.

The singer and businesswoman, who always dazzles with her outfits and has her own clothing line at Kohl's, appears in the December / January issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine talking about the Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez collection and her fascination with each piece that she has in her closet, which apparently for her are just like a good song.

"[Music] takes you back to some point in your life," he explained. "I do the same with my closet. I go in and see a hat, a pair of shoes or a coat and say, 'Wow, I remember I was wearing this when that happened, or I was walking on the street, or I heard this or my mom said this, or my boyfriend. Do you know what I'm talking about? I think about the day my children were born. It was in the middle of the snowstorm and I had on a big fur coat. It was very big and it was the only coat that served me”.

“[We met] years ago and I remember that he had a very sweet spirit. He came to my house and even then we talked about making a collaboration together”, confessed López, who shows off the models from his collection in the magazine photos. “We talked about many things, about a music video that I was going to make, about everything. He entered my closet and we sat there. We were only supposed to meet and greet each other, but he ended up staying for hours and we talked a lot about fashion. He said, 'omg, do you have those shoes? They only made ten pairs of that model. ' I've been a fan of her shoes for a long time."
