Within days of her 50th birthday, supermodel Cindy Crawford announced her withdrawal from the runways.
"I am sure that I will continue to be photographed for 10 more years, but not as a model," the American told Rhapsody, the magazine of the United Airlines airline.
The news took more than one by surprise, as the Balmain house recently selected Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell as the new advertising faces for their spring 2016 campaign.
"I have done it. I have worked with all of these amazing photographers. What else remains to be done? I can't keep reinventing myself. I don't want anymore, "he added.
With over 30 years of career, the model has walked the catwalks of renowned designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel and Versace. She was also a television presenter on MTV and participated in movies like Fair Game.
