Starting in the fall of 2016, Gigi Hadid will be the ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger, with whose brand she will also launch a capsule collection.
The model, who led the designer's show at last New York Fashion Week, claims to be very interested in this upcoming adventure.
"I ended up staying five extra hours the first day," Hadid told the New York Times about the first time he went to the brand's studio. "I think they were surprised that I was so interested."
The collection to be called Gigi by Tommy Hilfiger, will debut in the fall of next year and will be inspired by its style, its essence and its status as one of the most important models of the moment.
"She is not anorexic," said the designer in an interview with the publication. "She is a real woman."
Aside from being the face of the designer's core collection, Hadid will also represent his shoe line and upcoming fragrance.
