Beauty reigned during one of the year's most awaited nights. On Wednesday, People en Español's 50 Most Beautiful party took over club Mansion. A constellation of stars walked the red carpet of this posh New York nightclub, surrounded by limousines. The cold weather and their busy work schedules were not enough to stop our 'Bellos' from attending their own bash. They traveled exclusively to 'the city that never sleeps' not to miss this glamorous party… even if it meant taking a redeye flight back home.

This was the case of Dominican diva Charytín Goyco, who looked stunning in a flowing white dress by Venezuelan designer Rafael Cennamo. The charismatic blonde had to leave for the airport at 3 am in order to return to Miami to tape her TV show Escándalo TV (Telefutura) on Thursday morning. But the night was still young and she made the most of it, partying with husband Elín Ortiz, son Shalim and daughter-in-law Leslie Ann Machado, whom Chary has given her blessing to. "Leslie is my Princess," she said, "I love that girl!"

Another couple that seemed head-over-heels in love were Myrka Dellanos and Ulysses Daniel Alonso. The newlyweds still had that honeymoon glow. "I love seeing her shine, with her beautiful smile, her fans love her," Alonso gushed about his wife, "I'm happy to be here accompanying her." Sharply dressed in a Hugo Boss suit paired with a Valentino tie, Alonso showed off the cufflinks his wife had recently given him. Myrka -known for her good taste- also looked dashing in a tight Herve Lager black dress and Christian Loboutin white heels.

Lovebirds Yahir and Claudia Alvarez did not fall far behind. The Mexican actors, who star in TV Azteca's soap opera Bellezas indomables, danced and cuddled all night long. The Mexican stars made the most of their visit to the Big Apple, doing some shopping and visiting the Statue of Liberty while they were in town. "We're always having fun," Yahir said. "We can't stay apart for even a second."

Can't say the same for Dayanara Torres and her ex Amaury Nolasco, who coincidentally bumped into each other at the red carpet. Even though the Prison Break (FOX) actor claims there is no tension between them, the Puerto Rican actress seemed to gracefully runaway from him. "That's my girl," Nolasco said about the former Miss Universe. “People expect you to hate one another to death after a break up, but we ended in really good terms, there is mutual respect,” the actor added, promising he'd ask Torres to dance.

However, Marc Anthony's ex wife seemed more interested in having a good time with her inseparable sister Jeannette Torres-Álvarez, whom she recently partnered up with to write a book about divorce. "When we were girls, we even used to sleep in the same room," Jeannette said. "When Dayanara won Miss Universe, I was the one who needed therapy because I felt like my other half was leaving."

One who showed up without her 'other half' was Sofía Vergara, who arrived with a friend, Mexican Nascar driver Toño Perez. The Colombian actress keeps making a name for herself in Hollywood and will soon start filming the movie Maria Goes to Jail (Lions Gate). “I'm a serial killer [specialized in] men,” she joked about her role in this dark comedy.

And speaking of maneaters, one who looked like the legendary 'black widow' was Cuban singer and actress Niurka Marcos -who arrived without husband Yanixán- wearing a provocative black sequin dress by Mexican designer Mitzy. As expected, the Cuban vedette and her friend, reggaeton's 'first lady' Ivy Queen, were the life of the party.

Others who hit the dance floor were Puerto Rican TV presenter Giselle Blondet and Mexican journalist María Elena Salinas, who danced to Daddy Yankee's tune 'Lo que happened, pasa,' among other hits. The Big Boss of reggaeton gave us an exclusive sneak peek of his upcoming album, the soundtrack to his new movie Talento de Barrio. Getting everyone on their feet, Yankee performed his new single Pose, one of the night's many surprises!
