Bittersweet week. This is how Ferdinando Valencia titled the video that he shared this Monday through his YouTube channel in which one more week he reports on the state of health of his son Dante, who remains hospitalized in the Mexican state of Jalisco, Mexico, fighting for his life after suffering a relapse from a box of meningitis. This mix of sour and sweet with which the soap opera lover has chosen to define his last days with Dante is due to the disparate news between them that he has recently received regarding the baby.
On the one hand, the 39-year-old interpreter enthusiastically announced that Dante was fortunately released from intensive care, so he was transferred to a room.
"They just gave us excellent news, they just told us that Dante is doing extremely well, that the doctor is probably planning to take away the last medication from now until Monday … Let him do it all by himself. At this point they did a larger sample and there is no bacteria, there is nothing, the lungs are fine, "said Ferdinando to his mother during a phone call shown during the video.
Although the baby of just three months of life is progressing favorably to the point that he is no longer intubated, Ferdinando reported in the midst of this great news that unfortunately the little one has a percentage of risk in one of his legs since, according to Valencia explained, a clot went to that end of his body.
"Things are much better, we just have a little slope for a little foot that brings a little delicate […] a clot went to the leg where the treatment was and then it began to necrotize, so there is a percentage risk”, reported Ferdinando.
"I don't want to talk about possibilities because they are strong," added the actor.
Despite the obvious concern that this matter generates in them, both Ferdinando and his partner, the also actress Brenda Kellerman, were very positive and above all happy and hopeful at the improvement that Dante has presented in recent days and that, without This is undoubtedly the best sign that everything is going well despite the length and complexity of the process.
