Julian Gil And Marjorie De Sousa Carry Out DNA Tests On Their Son

Marjorie de Sousa and Julián Gil added a new chapter on Thursday to their endless legal battle for the support of their son, Matías Gregorio, when his mother took him to the Institute of Forensic Sciences in Mexico City for a DNA test.

According to Reforma, the little boy underwent blood and saliva tests, like his parents, in order to scientifically determine who his father is. On leaving the official offices, De Sousa expressed his dismay at the media pressure that the little boy has been subjected to.

"It is unfortunate, not exposing myself, (but) exposing my baby to this," said the Venezuelan actress. "It is very unfortunate to have to bring my son and have to take her in front of so many cameras to see her father."

De Sousa was also upset by the damage that has been tried to inflict on his reputation throughout this process, which has already lasted almost a year. “After mocking my honor and everything, there can be nothing else. As a woman I have nothing to fear. I am a mother who fights for the rights of her son”.

Gil, who said he was sure of his paternity, was "very happy" that the DNA samples were finally taken and the genetic test performed. "[It is] one more step that we won," said the actor of Argentine origin, according to the newspaper El Universal.

Although it is not officially known when the test results will be released, De Sousa indicated that they would have them in 10 days, although that does not imply that they will be made public.
