Kim Kardashian celebrated her husband Kanye West's 40th birthday in style.

The couple packed their bags and together with their children North West, 3, and Saint, 1, they boarded a plane bound for the Bahamas.

According to online site ET, the West-Kardashian family stayed at the luxurious home of Mike Meldman - one of the owners of Casamigos Tequila - on the island of Great Guana Cay.

"They stayed in a private residence, did not work and were not connected to social networks, it is exactly what the family needed," a source told the portal.

All good things come to an end. After enjoying six days with the family and away from the lens of the paparazzi, Kim Kardashian, who recently exploded against Caitlyn Jenner and her book The Secrets of My Life, was portrayed in Los Angeles arriving at her home and wearing stylish braids with her baby Saint in arms.

Little North was also portrayed arriving at her home and wearing a hairstyle very similar to that of her mom. As the famous saying goes: such a stick, such a splinter.
