I have great respect for Julián Gil and Marjorie de Sousa as artists. So it has been and always will be. When I was approached last year with the great news that not only were they together, but they were also engaged to get married and were expecting a baby, I felt immense joy for both of them. On more than one occasion Julián had confirmed to me his dream of being a father again and being able to see his son grow and educate. The love story, which seemed like it was going to be for a lifetime - the two were neighbors, great friends and shared their passion for acting - came to an end a few weeks after the birth of the beautiful Matías Gregorio Gil de Sousa in Ciudad de Mexico.

A photo shoot with the close family seemed impossible. Marjorie lives in Mexico, in the house she bought a few weeks before the baby was born, and Julián spends most of his time in Miami, where he has a television program. When it was time for the photo shoot, Julián was in China. Upon his return, Carole Joseph, our entertainment editor and cover story writer, contacted him. She wanted a photo shoot with her son and of course we did too. However, he could only travel to Mexico from May 20, too late for the closing of this edition. We agreed, anyway, for the next edition of the magazine. Julián proposed to do the photo shoot with his little one, but outside the house where he lives.

The tensions between Matías Gregorio's parents continue and they will know how to resolve them with the advice of their respective lawyers. In these pages we are only going to introduce you to the baby at 4 months, a beautiful, happy and healthy child. They will know where he lives, his room surrounded by photographs of him with his mother and father, his day to day. In the next edition, if Julián travels to Mexico, goes with his son and accesses the photoshoot, they will also see him here.

We respect the privacy of both and I am sure that for the benefit of their offspring they will reach an agreement for the sake of the only important thing: the well-being and health of Matías Gregorio Gil de Sousa.
