Zuria Vega lived last month one of the saddest and most painful moments of her life: the death of her father, the first Mexican actor Gonzalo Vega, who died after a long battle against the myelodysplastic syndrome that he suffered since 2010.

But life goes on. More now that the 27-year-old actress has an important reason to keep going: the baby on the way.

Four weeks after the death of her father, Vega held her first baby shower last Thursday, which was organized by her most intimate circle of friends.

The actress -who is in the last trimester of her pregnancy since she is already 31 weeks pregnant- celebrated in a simple and not ostentatious way the future arrival of Lúa, her daughter, since the death of her father is still very recent.

The big absent at the baby shower was her sister Marimar Vega, who could not be with her for work reasons.

Through his social networks, Zuria wanted to make his followers complicit in that emotional moment and published an image of the celebration through Instagram.

Zuria - who unlike other actresses like Marjorie de Sousa, Michelle Renaud or Anahí has not wanted to share her pregnancy through any magazine - now sports darker hair.

The protagonist of soap operas such as Mar de amor, A refuge for love and What the poor so rich will become a mother in early 2017 after two years of marriage to the actor of Cuban origin Alberto Guerra, who already has a teenage daughter named Penelope.

“I feel full, happy and excited, sometimes lost, but there is my wonderful husband who supports me, loves me and shares this whole process with me who is as much his as he is mine. My friends have played a very important role too, especially with those who I am sharing this stage, we count, we vent and laugh together,”Zuria recounted months ago through Instagram.
