After working a long day at work, a Pennsylvania father proved he was not too tired for his most important duty - caring for his sick son.

"He works from 11pm until 7am, I expected him to go directly to the house," Amy Palmer, the touched mother told People. "He was exhausted, but he's a good father, so he came straight to see his son."

Amy was asleep in the only chair in the small hospital room with her 20-month-old baby AJ, who was admitted to the hospital after an asthma attack when her husband Andre entered.

"He didn't want to wake me up," said Amy, 33. "At around 8 in the morning, I saw him under the crib and just thought about taking a photo."

Palmer also commented that her son is much better and is recovering at home.
