Isla, a 7-month-old baby girl from the city of Troy, Michigan, has been selected to be the new face of Gerber, the brand dedicated to babies.
The little girl was chosen from among 170,000 candidates, and seeing Isla's photo is not difficult to imagine why. The baby appears looking at the camera with a big smile, in a funny posture.
"He is the happiest baby. He's always smiling,”her mother Rachel told People. "The smiling face that looks in the photo is her face all the time!"
Island dads will receive an award for ethics. In addition, Isla will be the image of the company's campaigns in 2016.
On the other hand, baby Isla has become the first Asian American to represent the company.

"Gerber judges are looking for happy babies, judging by their patience, expressiveness, and consistency with Gerber's mission and heritage," Bernadette Tortorella, Nestle's representative, said in a statement. "The photo search is not about a beauty pageant and we think all babies are a Gerber baby, but we fell in love with Isla's cute smile and fun hairstyle," she explained.
Isla's mom compares her daughter's success to winning the Powerball jackpot.
"It took us by surprise," he said. "I mean, she is our winner always, but I guess for other people too."
"We can't wait for him to get older and understand all of this," he added. "Maybe it could be his story to tell."
