Tyra Banks Welcomes Her Baby Boy Through The Womb For Hire

Supermodel and TV presenter Tyra Banks has become a boy's mother through a surrogate womb.

Banks and his partner, Norwegian photographer Erik Asla, welcomed their baby York Banks Asla on Wednesday, the mother's representative confirmed to People.

“We are very excited about our baby, a bundle of joy. The journey so far has not been an easy process, as I have shared previously, but in the end there was a bright light for me and her father, Erik,”can be read in an exclusive statement to which People has had access.

“As I look into my son's beautiful eyes I think of all the people who are suffering with fertility problems or having a baby, and I pray for them every day. My hopes and dreams are filled with the good wishes that they will get to feel what I feel with my little treasure, York Banks Asla, in my arms”.

The new mom announced the arrival of her baby on Instagram, along with a photo of a hospital hat. "The best gift we've worked and prayed for so much has finally arrived," Banks wrote. "She has my little fingers and big eyes, and her dad Erik's little mouth and chin."

He added: “At the same time that we thank the woman who conceived our miracle baby, we pray for all those who are struggling to reach this joyous goal. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
