Hayden Panettiere stole glances on the Emmys red carpet, and used the occasion to reveal the sex of her baby.

"I can't wait for her to be born," the star commented to presenter Giuliana Rancic, who exclaimed during the interview she was doing for E! "it's a girl".

"I think I just said it, she's a little girl," Panettiere replied enthusiastically, who also confessed her wishes to begin the preparations to receive her baby girl.
