Canadian singer Michael Bublé, 37, and his wife, Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato, 26, became parents to a child early Tuesday morning, August 27. The little boy was named Noah.
Lopilato shared the happy news through Facebook, where she published this image with her husband and little boy, with the words: “Full of light with the arrival of Noah Buble at 2:26 am on August 27. Blessed and happy with our son!” Bublé did the same through his Instagram account.
The couple had anticipated in March that the baby they were expecting was a boy. Bublé had already expressed his enthusiasm for becoming a father, saying in an interview that when he learned that his wife was pregnant, that was the best day of his life.
The day the couple learned the sex of the baby coincided with the appointment of the new pope, who turned out to be Argentine like Lopilato. "It's a sign!" She joked then. "But by no means are we going to call him Frank (for Francisco), although he could be associated with Frank Sinatra."
Although the couple had their debates about the child's name, Bublé's priority is to always be present in the life of their son. "I don't want to look back and think, 'God, I should have been there more,' because I'm sure I'm never going to look back and think, 'Oh no, I should have been working more.'"
