Salma Hayek's preferred topic of conversation is motherhood. The actress loves to talk about the experiences she has with her daughter Valentina Paloma, to the point that her single friends have told her that she has no other topic to talk to them about.
"Sometimes I have to explain to my closest circle that my decision to be a housewife and take care of the home and my daughter is the result of my own will," the actress told the British newspaper The Guardian.

“I have never been pressured to direct my life one way or the other, but it is true that my single friends tell me that it is increasingly difficult to understand me because the only thing I want to talk to them about is motherhood. They say that I have no other topic of conversation, but it is that being a mother now dominates all areas of my life. Motherhood is strenuous, much more than any professional work, she added.
Valentina, the only daughter of the Mexican actress, was born in September 2007, the result of Hayek's relationship with the French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.
