Fabián Ríos Is Satisfied With The End Of Albeiro

After five seasons giving life to Albeiro, Fabián Ríos is ready to start a new stage in his successful career now that the saga he starred with Carmen Villalobos and Catherine Siachoque came to an end on December 9. In an exclusive interview with People en Español, the Colombian actor tells us if he was satisfied with the outcome of his character and tells us what his next steps are at work.

Were you satisfied with the end of Albeiro?

Of course I was satisfied. I think the most important thing for my character was to defend his family and obviously clarify the feeling he had for Catalina. I think that's consistent in real life, too. One must be clean for the person who decided to love and I believe that Albeiro made the best decision to separate from the two, clarify his feelings and in the end defend his family.

On a personal level, it leaves me the satisfaction of defending the family, which in this case is what I live in my real life. The one of this season is excellent for me because Albeiro is as it should be, he gives what he has to give and that is more than enough for me. And what people say or want, that is taste and one must respect them, after all, people are in a certain way masters of their passions, of their desires, of what they want and in particular I do not let myself carry by a fiction. I live my reality and my reality is this that I am living. It is wonderful to be able, after so long, to share with my family, to share with Yuly, with my children … That is what today is giving me all the satisfaction of this world. Fiction is fiction and it stays there on paper.

What's next for your career? What are your next steps to follow?

Too many beautiful things follow for my career. I'm about to start a new wonderful character, the one I always wanted to have after Albeiro. A new beginning, a new history, new joys, new happiness. I am happy.

What kind of character would you like to play after Albeiro?

I would like to play a character totally contrary to Albeiro. It seems to me that it is the language that we must interpret, not settle for comfort, but feel uncomfortable and I think the most beautiful way to do that is to make a character contrary to Albeiro and I think it has already been fulfilled.

Christmas is coming, how will you celebrate it?

Christmas I celebrate with my family, with Yuly, with Lucia and with my son David who is going to have his first Christmas and I want it to be totally wonderful and unforgettable. I think that is the most beautiful thing in life, celebrating it with the family, the rest are additions. The main thing is the family.
