When you live in a city like New York it is always good to take a break from the hustle, work and bustle of the big city. For those who sometimes cannot take a plane and go to a paradise beach, there is always the option of taking a road trip to a place that is not far from the city. That is exactly what my friends and I did and the experience was worth it.
We decided to go for two days to North Fork, Long Island, a place two hours from Manhattan known for its charming wines. The best way to get there is by car and if you plan to go with friends as I did, it is recommended that you choose a spacious vehicle to accommodate suitcases, comfortable for the long trip and especially safe to avoid any inconvenience on the way. Chevrolet's new off-road Traverse was the ideal choice as it made the journey that much more enjoyable. In addition, it is completely redesigned to suit the tastes of passengers of all ages, including phone charger, bluetooth and Wi-fi, among other useful features.
Once in North Fork we visit vineyards such as the Sparkling Pointe where we enjoy the beautiful scenery, we take souvenir photos and of course we tried some of the best wines made in the area. It was definitely an unforgettable weekend. North Fork is an excellent option to forget about stress and spend a few days of tranquility enjoying outdoor walks and excellent wines. Do you fancy visiting it?
