Amanda Diaz Exiled From Cuba Earns Thousands Of Dollars On Instagram

At age five, Amanda Díaz fled Cuba together with her parents in search of a better quality of life. It was not easy. Her dad, who worked in the medical field in Cuba, had to do unwanted work for low wages to provide food for his family. “My parents are my entire world. They sacrificed everything for me and my sister, taking us out of Cuba,”the model told People en Español. "They have worked so hard to give us more opportunities."

The efforts paid off. Today Díaz earns around $ 400,000 a year thanks to the promotions she makes on Instagram - where she has more than 439,000 followers - and to her work as a professional model.

"I sacrificed a lot of time from my childhood to my passion and without realizing the power of social networks, I grew up in an inexplicable way," said the young woman who rents a luxurious apartment in Miami, FL. “I was consistent even in the moments where I thought I was never going to get anywhere. I am very grateful that I was strong and did not stop.”

While still savoring the honeys of her success, Amanda does not forget the country that saw her born. “[What I miss the most] is my family. [I returned] in June for the first time in thirteen years. It was a very special and emotional trip”, she stressed.

For Amanda, family is everything and for whom she does everything. “My dream is to be able to take care of all my family in all aspects. I have a lot of things planned for next year”, he pointed out. "My biggest dream is to represent my country and inspire people to fulfill their dreams."
