Dayanara Torres Cries When Saying Goodbye To Her Son Cristian

Over the years, Dayanara Torres has dedicated her body and soul to her two offspring, Cristian and Ryan, a product of her relationship with salsa singer Marc Anthony. And while she's always been a protective mother, the former Miss Universe fully understands that the time has come to let them face life on their own.

Through an image published on her Instagram account in early August, the also television presenter recalled the time of her children's babies and nostalgically admitted that they are all little men.

“I can't believe it….. [how] time passes! I no longer have babies,”he wrote next to the 2009 image.

Torres has been melancholic by boasting on her social networks the inevitable transition from adolescents to adults of her children, especially her first-born, who this year begins university at 18 years of age.

Cristian is the first to leave his mother's nest to begin his studies far from his home in Southern California, where the former beauty queen currently resides.

Between tears and an eternal hug, Torres said goodbye to the young man on Wednesday night and with an emotional message reminded him of how important he has been in his life.

"Because you have to let them fly. My Cristian, what a great honor it has been to have you in my life, to see you grow and now it is my turn to see you fly”, he wrote with the video of his goodbye from the airport. "You will always be the arrow in my bow and I hope you fly as far as your heart desires."

Cristian, who will attend college in New York, graduated from high school in June and his father said he was present at that graduation ceremony.

On this occasion, the interpreter was not at the airport to say goodbye to his son since he is in Chile as part of his Opus Tour. Surely he joined in the distance wishing him the best in this new stage of his life.
