Without a doubt, chef José Andrés has been one of the celebrities who have done everything to help the people of Puerto Rico who were affected by Hurricane María. So much so that the Spanish announced yesterday with pride that he had already prepared two million free meals for Puerto Ricans. "People of the world, today we reach 2 million meals served in Puerto Rico," José Andrés said on his Twitter.
Before the announcement, Governor Ricardo Roselló responded gratefully also through the same social network. "Thank you for the mission of feeding our people." It was together with a group of volunteers and celebrities who donated large amounts of money such as Gloria and Emilio Estefan that the chef - who is considered one of the most influential personalities in Time magazine - prepared thousands of meals daily for the victims left by the storm.
Not only José Andrés has done everything to help the island, multiple entertainment stars such as Ricky Martin, Luis Fonsi, Nicky Jam, Adamari López, among others, have joined efforts to show the world the difficult times in Puerto Rico..
