Paulina Rubio In New Legal Problem

Four years ago, Paulina Rubio was harassed by a paparazzo named Alfredo Tapanes, from whom the singer defended herself. Now the photographer filed a lawsuit against the Golden Girl and her partner, Gerardo Bazúa, under the charge of assault, according to the Mexican television program Ventaneando.

In the judicial process, which began on August 4 in a court in Miami, Florida; Tapanes assures that while trying to take pictures of the lovers while riding their bikes, he was beaten by the interpreter of “Not a single word” and attacked by Bazúa.

According to the plaintiff, said confrontation caused him mental suffering and anguish; as well as hospitalization, nurses and medical treatment expenses. Therefore, now he is going through economic problems from which he cannot recover and are the main reason for this complaint four years after the alleged event occurred.

When this incident took place, in 2013, Rubio commented with the authorities that the photographer started the fight and had put his life at risk. Even at that time, police and firefighters arrived to help in the supposed emergency. Given the situation, the singer was forced to call her lawyer to be aware of what happened.

Now, in the official documents, it is noted that the accusing party seeks that the damages, monetary disbursements and fallen wages of these four years be quantified so that they are paid economically. So far, Paulina Rubio and Gerardo Bazúa have not commented on this.
