The men's magazine Playboy is once again the spearhead by including a transsexual woman on its cover. The event occurred in the German edition, in which Giuliana Farfalla posed nude for this renowned publication, as reported by the Spanish newspaper El País.
According to the editors, this type of action is part of the values of its recently deceased creator, Hugh Hefner, he defended and, in particular, they consider that the German nation has been an important pillar to show its ideology.
"Playboy Germany is considered the heir to the tradition of its founder Hugh Hefner, who in his life defended the freedom of the individual and opposed any form of exclusion and intolerance," wrote Florian Boltin, editor-in-chief of the magazine.
Farfalla's choice was because "she is a very special woman and an example of the importance of determination." Therefore, it adheres to all the concepts that this publication has defended since its inception and that have been its banner to this day.
The 21-year-old was born in Breisgau, Germany as a boy and was registered under the name of Pascal Radermacher. When she was 16 she decided to make the sex change. She was part of the contestants of the reality Germany's Next Top Model.
According to Playboy, Giuliana Farfalla is working to be recognized as a successful woman beyond her transgender status. Given this, she continues to seek professional opportunities on a daily basis. This copy with the model on the cover and centrals went on sale next Thursday in Germany.
