Before reaching world fame for his song "Despacito", Luis Fonsi was like any child and adolescent from his native Puerto Rico. After years of tireless work, he achieved a place in music, until becoming, thanks to this song, an international phenomenon. What many are unaware of is that the attractive image with an athletic and muscular body was not what the singer had in his youth.
On May 5 of last year, he released on his Instagram account a photograph of his teenage years, where he shows a totally unrecognizable image! In the snapshot, a Fonsi with long hair and wearing large round glasses was appreciated. He even gave himself a mockery and posted the memes that came up about it.
"OMG! Who… who told me that this hair looked good on me?”Was the text with which Fonsi accompanied the portrait. "Ready to be mocked and destroyed in 3 … 2 … 1. I am brave. We all have a past."
Now, that and other images of her childhood and first steps as a singer were taken up by Internet users, turning them into a viral phenomenon, as reported by the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
It seems that the fans did not like those photographs as much and expressed their feelings in comments such as "uf, millet, you changed for the better" or "the good thing is that there are no ugly people, but poorly groomed."
However, Luis Fonsi seems not to be concerned about this situation and continues to enjoy the fame that his famous “Despacito” has brought him.
