The Bachelor Star Arrested In Iowa

Chris Soules, star of season 19 of the popular ABC show The Bachelor, was arrested early Tuesday after he allegedly escaped from a traffic accident that left one person dead.

According to a report shared by the online site of People magazine, Buchanan County police in Iowa state have reportedly confirmed that Soules was in detention and facing charges of leaving the scene of the fatal accident.

Although authorities in charge of the investigation have not yet released information about the accident, a bond has apparently been set up for Kenneth Mosher, 66, from the small town of Aurora.

In a further TMZ report, it is added that Soules, 35, was driving the truck involved in the crash. After the collision, Mosher had to be rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Christopher Douglas, first name for Soules, starred in The Bachelor in 2015, committing to Whitney Bischoff. A few months after the show ended, the couple's breakup was announced.

Soules appeared in season 10 of The Bachelorette (ABC) as one of the entrants and was also one of the guest stars in the popular Dancing with the Stars (ABC) contest.
