Bello Sánchez, a former contestant on America's Next Top Model, says he was raped in a Paris nightclub and that he believes the police did nothing because of his race and sexual orientation.

Sánchez told the entertainment news portal TMZ that the assault took place on January 30 in the bathroom of the Le Rouge club, and that when he asked the police for help, the police carried out an incomplete rape test and paid little attention to the case.

Police in the French capital have not spoken on the matter of Sánchez's statements, as reported by People.

"Find that person. In Paris it is so easy to find someone. All buildings are the same color. There are not many places where you can hide, "said the model in a video recording. "Why didn't you look at that very moment, when I told you? Why didn't they do it? Why weren't they asking security members? they were not helpful, "he added.

Sánchez assures that it was not until 72 hours after the complaint that the rape test was completed thanks to the help of a group of lawyers who were on the phone with the police for nine hours.

In addition, the reality star is convinced that the police did not want to do his job due to his race and sexual orientation.

"If I were a white and blonde girl in Paris recounting what happened to me, things would have been different," she said.

"I think the tone of my skin, my gender, my sexuality, how I look, I think all of those things had to do with why I wasn't given proper respect. That's what I think".
