The film is the sixth and final installment in the Resident Evil science fiction film series. "So far I haven't had to kill any zombies but [in the film] I had fun killing a few," he said with a laugh.
Levy moved to South Africa to share scenes with, among others, Milla Jovovich, Ali Arter, Shaw Roberts and Ruby Rose. "So far it has been one of the best things I've ever done in my life," he said. "Representing the Latin world in a franchise like this is very important, it is a way of continuing to open doors."
The film opens on January 27 in the country's movie theaters.
