It was George Michael's romantic partner, stylist Fadi Fawaz, who found him on Christmas morning, dead in his bed.

We recall that the news of the death of the pop star of the 80's and 90s, at the age of 53, shocked the world in full year-end parties. Many celebrities reacted through their social networks to express their surprise.

Fawaz said in an interview with the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph that his partner had died absolutely alone, in his bed and that he found him. "We were supposed to have a Christmas lunch," he said.

He also revealed that both were anxiously waiting for Christmas. "Now everything has been ruined. I want people to remember him for what he was: a beautiful person," he said.

Hours before these statements, Fawaz, with whom George had a discreet relationship and had only been seen on a few occasions, posted his feelings on Twitter. ã-ôñÎ ® Ûk ×; {n¼ {zwN¸o ^ ¸w¦½

"This is a Christmas I will never forget, finding your partner peacefully dead in bed early in the morning. I will never stop missing you."

The first time George and the stylist first appeared in public was in Venice in 2011, shortly after the musician ended a more than a decade-long relationship with Kenny Goss.

In that same year, Fadi was taking care of George when he had to be hospitalized in Europe due to severe pneumonia.

Fadi Fawaz is a 43-year-old stylist, lover of photography and art, who says that among his clients are figures such as Emily Blunt and Naomi Campbell.
