Pope Francis has broken many molds and is not afraid to resort to unconventional methods to reach his followers. That is why the Argentine pontiff has joined several Hispanic singers to record songs of motivation and spiritual teaching.
The first song was "La madre" with the Mexican Manuel Mijares. The song includes music by Felisatti and lyrics by Vincenzo Incenzo and Miguel Luna. Mijares sings the song while listening to the pope's voice in the background talking about unconditional maternal love.
"A mother, despite the fact that her children become adults, accompanies them on the road and, although they are wrong, she understands them, protects them and helps them," says Francisco.
The voice of the pope is also heard in the song "Our Father" by the Spanish singer Camilo Sesto. This is a Spanish version of a song taken from the musical Il Primo Papa.
The song comes out just before Christmas and promises to be a good gift for those in search of a spiritual message.
“I feel privileged to have been able to share words with someone who is not a singer, but who is almost the most important person in the world. This has made me feel touched by the hand of God,”said Camilo Sesto in the presentation this Monday of the subject in the church of San Antón in Madrid, where he appeared dressed all in white and in a wheelchair due to an injury in the hip.
