Puerto Rican urban music performer Bad Bunny joined the outrage generated in Puerto Rico by the brutal shooting murder of transgender woman Alexa Negrón Luciano on February 24.

During his presentation on the Tonight Show (NBC) program presented by Jimmy Fallon, the singer performed the song "Ignorants" along with Sech -part of the new album- wearing a skirt and a white T-shirt with the message in Spanish "They killed Alexa, not a man in a skirt."

In his participation in the program, the interpreter of "Te boté" revealed the cover of the new album, YHLQMDLG, which stands for "I do what I want", and noted that it has a total of 20 songs. The launch date will be next Saturday.

Puerto Rico Governor Wanda Vásquez called the murder of Alexa “sad, cruel and insensitive”, which authorities have classified as a hate crime.

Alexa, 27, whose birth name was Carlos Alberto Negrón, was homeless. About nine hours before the murder, her photo had been posted on social media after she was reported to police because she was allegedly spying on a fast-food restaurant in the women's public toilets.

The body of Alexa was found the morning of February 24 in a grassland in the municipality of Toa Baja. So far, a suspect has been detained.
