After conservative leader Boris Johnson swept the recent British election with an absolute majority, the country's exit from the European Union is only a matter of time. Apparently, on January 31, the divorce between these two powers will be signed.

While this fact brings great joy to supporters of the long-awaited Brexit, for others, the dreaded Brexit is the greatest failure Europe has been going through since World War II. What is Queen Elizabeth's position in the face of this tremendous uproar?

While the sovereign, due to her condition, cannot take sides in public, some media such as The Telegraph pointed out that during a private dinner Elizabeth II supported the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

Instead, in a speech a few months ago, the queen said about it: “As we look for new solutions in this modern era, I prefer recipes that have already been tried, such as speaking well of each other, as well as respecting different points of view, not to lose the general vision of things and to seek the common interest”, words that prove his exquisite diplomacy.
