José José's Widow Demands That The Late Singer Be Left Alone

The controversy surrounding José José's family does not seem to end, so his widow, Sara Salazar, has come out to ask that the memory of the late singer be left alone.

Through a statement sent by his spokesman Luis Ernesto Berrios, who was a partner of the deceased singer for more than 20 years, demanded respect for his family and the memory of her husband.

Stop the slander and tell so many lies against my family, we do not hurt anyone or get into their lives. Enough with so many offenses,”requests the statement.

These statements come a few days after José Joel, the eldest son of the Prince of the Song, confirmed that he had started the legal process against his father's widow and sister Sara Sosa to clarify not only the terms of the inheritance, but other questions regarding the life and death of the singer.

"If my father rests, now with all the law, that these people answer and respond," said José Joel to the Mexican entertainment program Ventaneando.

The widow and her youngest daughter star in a public dispute with the singer's older children from the moment the artist's death was known in Miami last September. Sara assures that she does not have to explain her decisions related to her husband's funeral and asks that they let him rest in peace.

"Blessings to all who have dedicated themselves to attacking us, I only ask God to give peace to their troubled soul," Sara said in the statement.

“It is time to let my dear husband rest. In these moments, José José needs prayer from all the people who love him and not family confrontations, he added.
