The sexual orientation of the actors is gradually becoming a taboo subject. Fortunately, more and more artists are losing their fear of coming out of the closet publicly.

This is the case of Carlos Buelvas, who plays "El Musaraña", one of the allies of "Cabo" (Robinson Díaz), in the Telemundo superseries El señor de los cielos.

The Colombian interpreter recently gave an interview to a well-known media outlet in his country in which for the first time he openly talks about his sexuality.

Do I like men and women? Yes, it is the answer”, Buelvas said.

“Today the subject of sexuality is seen in a much more mature, intelligent way and I cannot be a liar with my audience. I want from the deepest and most sincere of my heart to open myself and yes definitely before the camera I can tell you. The truth is that I fall in love with a human being regardless of gender, he said.

The actor, who also worked with Carmen Villalobos on the Telemundo telenovela Rich kids poor parents where curiously he gave life to a homosexual character, acknowledged that he had always thought that bisexuality did not exist until he had to live it in his own skin.

“You are not bisexual, you are bisexual. The point is that it is something that should not be understood. I think that it is something that must be taken in a respectful, natural and good way, we must be inclusive because we never know, say, when it is going to happen to us or with whom we are going to have to live through such a situation. That is something that is not decided. In the end, people who are heterosexual have a hard time believing how it works, but that's what we're here to explain it to them, said the young man.

Buelvas said that at this point in his career where he finds himself, he needed to be honest with his audience, so he wanted to open his heart and talk about his bisexuality.

“I am not going to feel ashamed, or feel guilty or sorry for what I am. Being on the level of honesty and telling my audience I am also bisexual for me is important.”
