At 36 years old, the co-host of Primer Impacto feels safer than ever in her own skin and it shows. How do you get it? Pamela Silva Conde tells us her secrets to look that wonderful in front of the millions of eyes that follow her every day.

You lived in Lima, Peru, until you were 10 years old. How do you think that has influenced your way of understanding beauty?

I don't know if this is the case in Peru, but my family is very fond of natural beauty and taking care of itself. My mother and grandmother were very disciplined with it and it has a lot to do with my routine of care now.

How is that routine so disciplined?

I think a lot of people don't put too much emphasis on what they eat, eat and drink. I like to take natural things so that beauty comes from within and is projected on your skin, your mood … I always start my routine with a protein shake with almond milk and a natural powder supplement that provides hydration and antioxidants. Water is also very important to me.

How many takes a day?

I try to drink 4 to 5 bottles that I fill up. You get used to it and it changes your life completely. It was recommended to me by a dermatologist when I worked early in the morning. He told me that most skin problems or headaches are resolved with water and that's how it was.

What is the most important beauty step for you?

Take off my makeup as soon as I leave the studio. The makeup we use is so heavy that I don't let the skin rest [with it], the first thing I do when I go out is to take it off with make-up remover wipes and then at home I wash my face well and put on my masks.

What are your favorite makeup products?

Off camera I only use a BB Cream to protect myself from the sun with a little color, a touch of mascara and lip gloss.

What do you do to relax?

Once a week I give myself an hour's massage on Sundays. I believe in the motto that one has to love oneself before one can love others. As my masseuse says, it is not just physical, you recharge energy for the whole week and it shows.

Have you always been faithful to a perfume?

When you smell an essence you have to identify with it, not only as a person, but the stage you are in in your life. Now I use Creed's Aventus, which I think reflects security. I have grown a lot professionally, I feel very safe and this perfume reflects it. Before, I used Dict's Addict a lot. I love it and I still use it when I have a night event, and I kind of go back to that essence of the funniest nights.

Are you one of those who care about the passage of time and wrinkles?

As the years go by, you feel more comfortable in your own skin. You learn how to listen to criticism and also praise more maturely. I don't believe in the scalpel. Well, not that I don't think I'm a coward. I still haven't had to do anything to myself, so I believe in taking preventive care to avoid aging in an unhealthy way.

In your program you are always seen with very original and very trendy looks. Do you choose them?

I like to take risks, it is the only way to learn. I work with a stylist, but since [fashion] is something I enjoy and I am very involved. As it is a daily program it is very difficult to hit every day, but as long as one feels comfortable and beautiful …

A confessable style vice?

Shoes are definitely my addiction. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that when I was a teenager I worked in a shoe store, even though they were sports shoes, but that's when my little obsession began. I think a shoe builds the look and many times I buy dresses for rugs and events based on the shoe.

Do you have a favorite brand?

80 percent of my shoes are from Gianvito Rossi. They are so comfortable!

And when it comes to dressing?

I like to support new designers. For example, the signature Alexis, which is from a Latin girl from Miami. Her line is the perfect combination because she is feminine, but she has wide dresses, nothing very fitted, it reflects my personal style.
