Pamela Silva Conde has a desire to fulfill. "I would like to be a mom, it is something pending", says the co-host of Primer Impacto (Univisión). "I feel so blessed that I don't want to ask for more, that it's when God wants."

The 35-year-old Peruvian journalist married the television executive César Conde in 2010 after several years of dating. “We take off our corporate hat and put on our staff. We have done a good job,”she says of her marriage to the president of NBC Universal International Group and NBC Universal Telemundo Enterprises. “When both partners succeed, it is much more satisfying. We are at that stage”.

Silva Conde, who is among the 25 Most Powerful Women in People en Español this year, confesses that she has great ambitions in the workplace, so she is in no rush to receive the stork. “This year I want to focus on doing things in English. We are in times to continue growing. In the times that we are with this anti-immigrant rhetoric, it is important to be a voice and represent the Hispanic community but in the Anglo-Saxon market,”she says. “This year I am going to focus a bit on that, on doing collaborations and projects in English in the general market. It is the goal, it is what I would love to do.”

Support foundations like Amigos for Kids, against child abuse, and the Saint Jude hospital that helps children with cancer, fill their hearts and free hours. "Power can be a double-edged sword," he acknowledges. "You have to know how to use it in a positive way that has an impact, that helps other people."
