When it comes to makeup, we all do our best to apply it the right way, but we don't always succeed. There are so many trends and so many products that sometimes it is not so easy to choose the ones we really need to look regal. However, it is even more difficult to learn to take advantage of our features to make the face look more harmonious. For example, the eyes are the focus of the face and it is important to know how to take advantage of them. For this there are different techniques that must be taken into account when applying makeup. Even the texture and colors of the shade are important to get the result you want.
Anneliese Tieck, Thalía's head makeup artist, arrived at our offices in New York and we took advantage of her visit to explain how to take advantage of her eyes.
“We have Pía who has a very marked basin. What we are going to do is apply a color and we are going to apply it all over the mobile eyelid”, explains the expert. "Then we will apply the same to the bottom."
Girls who have eyes with less pronounced basin should accentuate it with matte shades in warm colors.
"[With] a color that is matte we simply mark what we call the basin," says Tieck. "Then with another brush that is to blend, we choose a color that is a little warmer and we blend it upwards."
Watch the video and discover all the makeup artist's tips so you can learn to apply shadows quickly and effectively.
