One of the facial features capable of completely changing our appearance is the nose. Right in the center of the face, it is what gives personality and character to our appearance. Dr. John Zannis, a Stanford- trained plastic surgeon who has performed more than 5,000 operations and whose books are best-sellers on Amazon, shares the noses of celebrities most in demand by his patients.

"Patients who are going to have a rhinoplasty always point to Jennifer Lopez as an example of her dream nose," says Dr. Zannis. "Her nose is not terribly narrow, the tip is uniform, and the shape and size are perfectly proportional to the rest of her face."

"Ashley Olsen is the perfect example of heart-shaped faces," says the surgeon. “His face is broad and his chin slightly pointed. Having a straight nose focuses attention on your precious eyes."

"Rihanna has one of the most symmetrical faces in Hollywood," says the doctor. "The bridge of her nose is incredibly straight and her nostrils are large, balancing the length and narrowness of her face making it appear wider."

Jessica Alba's nose is the perfect size for her face, a little wider. Her face is slightly square and her nose draws the eye directly into her smile and eyes, preventing her from looking boxy.”

“ Rosario Dawson's face is so striking because all parts of her face stand out. When the eyes and lips are large, you need a nose that can stand out on its own, says Zannis. Fill in her face. If her nose were narrower or smaller it would have given her a gaunt look and would distract from the beauty of the rest.”

The nose is an incredibly sensitive organ, and it takes six months to a year to fully recover from a rhinoplasty, especially when working on the septum and sinuses. "Not only do you want your nose to look good, you also need it to function well," explains Dr. Zannis. "A good surgeon will focus on both aspects."

Another tip to consider before performing such an operation is the ethnic group to which we belong. "In addition to saying which celebrity you want to look like, bring photos of family members with the nose you want," says the plastic surgeon. "This assures you that you will maintain common traits to your family and race."
