Julia Roberts Arrives Barefoot At An Event In Cannes

Julia Roberts is one of the most talented and renowned actresses in show business and, apparently, she can afford to do as she pleases. So the actress dared to walk barefoot to an important carpet during the Cannes Film Festival in France.

Roberts, who arrived at the premiere of the movie Money Monster dressed in a sleek black off-the-shoulder Giorgio Armani Privé gown, walked the carpet gracefully without letting her bare feet be seen. It was not until Roberts set out to climb the majestic stairs of the theater that everyone realized he was not wearing shoes.

The actress showed her feet, which had a black manicure that went perfectly with her outfit, with great grace and security, and left everyone with their mouths open.

This comes as a surprise since last year some guests at this festival were barred from entering because they were wearing flat shoes, according to the security team, for not being appropriate for the occasion and because they were breaking the protocol to which they are accustomed.

This year other celebrities like Susan Sarandon and Kristen Stewart also broke protocol by coming to events on flats in the case of Sarandon and even in tennis like Stewart did.
