Singer Beyoncé chose model Jillian Mercado, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, to be part of her new product line consisting of T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts and accessories.
This is not the first time that the 28-year-old Mercado has appeared as a figure in a renowned campaign. The young New Yorker who was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy when she was a child and is in a wheelchair, has participated in campaigns for brands like Diesel and Nordstrom, and since last year is represented by the prestigious modeling agency IMG.
Here we share a video of Mercado for the documentary Re-defining beauty by AT&T U-verse.
