Readers of InStyle magazine will now be able to take advantage of many of the beauty tips on their pages thanks to the new The Salon by InStyle salons. The modern facilities within JCPenney stores nationwide include many of the products and trends recommended by the publication for those who want that "magazine" look.

Puerto Rican Ivette Otero, who serves as a stylist at the Miami salon, shares some of the hair trends this season. “Always for autumn we turn the shades darker. We are shooting deep reds, blonde reds, ombre is used a lot. There are also deep brown reds for this season.”

Another way to change your look in a less radical way is the highlights. “Baby lights, which are very fine flashes within the hair layer.
