Carolina Tejera, the unforgettable Eva Granados from the hit soap opera Gata Salvado (2002), is not going through her best moment on a personal level. After almost two years fighting a tough legal battle with the father of her son for the custody of the minor, the Venezuelan actress had to say goodbye recently to her first-born son, who made the decision to go live with his father in Costa Rica.

The actress in melodramas like Brave Heart and Cosita linda blames her son's father for damaging the healthy relationship he has had with the teenager for more than a decade.

“I love my son and he loves me and in 13 years we have been happy. But I have a dad and an ex hurting our relationship. I have nothing more to say. I hope for divine justice,”Tejera replied to a follower who did not understand how the minor had decided to go live with his father in Costa Rica if she had supposedly been such a good mother to him.

In an interview with the program Suelta la sopa (Telemundo), the 42-year-old interpreter said she was very hurt by this decision, but made it clear that she is not willing to fall into the game of her son's father.

"I think the best thing is to leave him [referring to his son], that he himself lives his adventure of his own free will. He is a child who is kind of groggy because of everything that is happening and it is best to leave him. I can't fall for the father's game. I can't,”declared the soap opera star.

From now on, the actress will be able to live with her son on the days that belong to him by law.

"He has to come [to Miami], of course he has to come his vacations what corresponds to me and I can also go whenever I want to Costa Rica," he said.
