The family of Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling continues to grow. This Wednesday, the 38-year-old Cuban-American actress shared a photo of the new member of her clan who is absolutely adorable.
Who is it about? From a puppy named Lucho, an adorable doberman mixed breed dog that the couple just adopted thanks to the help of the dog shelter Friends for Life Rescue Network.
Meet Lucho. The new member of our family,”wrote the actress and fashion businesswoman in an Instagram post where she appears hugging her new pet on the beach.
The puppy was born in mid-November last as part of a litter of 4 puppies and was put up for adoption by Friends for Life after being rescued, according to Jacqueline Santiago, founder of the said dog rescue center, to People.
"He has always been the most adorable and most docile puppy," says Santiago. "He has a wonderful temperament and that makes him a fantastic dog because he is loving and loyal."
The new four-legged friend of the family will surely delight the two daughters of the couple: Esmeralda Amada, 4, and Amada Lee, 3. The family is a dog lover, as we will remember Mendes had a loved one dog - Hugo, of Belgian Malinois breed - and his partner had inseparable George. Both dogs died a couple of years ago.
In fact, last September Mendes confessed to People that having dogs at home helped her prepare for motherhood. "You know what? it is not so different. It really isn't,”she exclaimed, laughing. "The love you feel for a dog and how you treat the dog, I think, is really similar to how you are with your children."
