Finding the house of his dreams was an odyssey for Marjorie de Sousa, because since she arrived in Mexico almost five years ago, she searched and searched for an ideal home without finding it. It wasn't until last December and already pregnant with Matías that she found the perfect place.

"The arrival of Matías was a miracle," the Venezuelan actress exclusively told People en Español. "It changed a lot of things and I have to say that the day I entered this house I said that this would be the house. I chose her pregnant, Matías chose her”.

Located to the south of Mexico City, the house where Matías Gregorio and his mother live has two floors and a garden, where both sunbathe each morning. "We changed the floors, the paint, everything," said De Sousa, who since he knew he was expecting a boy bought clothes and accessories for his baby's bedroom.

In fact, in addition to being adorned with dolls and toys, it also has family photographs on the walls. including one of Matías' father, Julián Gil, with the little boy. "What I did have to do was put together the decoration, the things that are in their place, the balls in the room, all those details I put together little by little. It was nice."

The artist is not alone in this new stage of her life, because fortunately she is accompanied by her personal assistant, a nanny and her inseparable mother, Gloria Rivas, who lives with them and not only cares for Matías when Marjorie is working, she also day-to-day help with household chores.

"As a grandmother [I am] always helping her, taking care of the child," said the proud grandmother.
